A tee order does not go straight to forming equipment when it reaches the workshop. At Haihao, the first step is to check the material grade, outside diameter, wall thickness, branch size, and dimensional standard against the production order. If one of those details is unclear, cutting the blank too early can create unnecessary rework. The tee forming should be reviewed together with the stated application and order requirements.
Once the order is confirmed, pipe or other approved starting material is prepared to the size needed for forming. Enough allowance is left for the body shape and later end machining. The forming method then depends on the tee itself. Hydraulic forming may suit one size, while hot forming or welded fabrication may be used for another. The tee forming can be specified according to the project requirements.
Haihao has 14 supporting production lines and around 450 sets of dedicated production equipment. The production setup covers medium-frequency forming, hot forming, cold forming, heat treatment, precision casting, and machining. Large hydraulic presses rated at 6,000, 4,000, and 2,500 tons are available for heavy forming work, allowing different tee sizes and production batches to be arranged around the equipment they require. Selection of the tee forming should reflect the operating conditions and installation plan.
After the branch takes shape, operators check the run, branch position, center dimensions, and general geometry. End machining follows after that. Surface work is arranged only after the body and ends are finished, with stainless steel and carbon steel handled according to their own requirements. The tee forming can be confirmed with the required dimensions and application details.
This sequence keeps the forming stage tied to the actual order and gives each batch a clear production route.
