The 90 degree steel elbow is made for butt-weld piping where a full right-angle turn is needed without changing the pipe size. The range in the sheet starts at NPS 1/2 inch and goes up to NPS 48 inch.

It is used when a pipeline needs a softer change in direction instead of a full 90 degree turn. The table covers NPS 1/2 inch through NPS 48 inch.
