A tee, also known as a pipe tee, is a fitting or connector. It is primarily used to change the direction of fluid flow, placed where a main pipeline branches off. They can be classified by pipe diameter. Common materials include carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, plastic, argon-bonded asphalt, and PVC.

A tee is a chemical pipe fitting with three openings: one inlet and two outlets, or two inlets and one outlet. It comes in T-shape and Y-shape, with equal diameter or reducing openings, and is used where three identical or different pipelines converge. The main function of a tee is to change the direction of fluid flow.
