Product Overview
Socket welding elbows are one-piece die-forged high-pressure pipe fittings with uniform wall thickness. Socket design enables fillet welding installation and prevents weld slag from entering the pipeline, complying with GB/T14383 and ASME B16.11, with pressure ratings 3000LB-9000LB, applicable to chemical and power industry high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines.
Applications
1.Core Industries: Socket type elbow is applied in petroleum refining, chemical fertilizer, thermal power generation and shipbuilding.
2.Harsh Conditions: For pipelines conveying high-temperature & high-pressure, flammable, explosive or toxic media.
3.Key Areas:Socket type elbow is used at the connection of valves, pumps and main pipelines for easy later maintenance and disassembly.
Features
Structural Characteristics: 90° L-shaped/180° U-shaped, consistent two-end socket depth ensures pipe axial alignment.
Material Characteristics: Forged steel material with dense structure and higher strength than ordinary castings.
Process Features: Internal stop step limits pipe insertion depth to avoid welding penetration.
Technical Specifications
Angles: 45°, 90°, 180° (return bend).
Standards:Socket type elbows adapt to British A-series (Φ21.3-Φ114.3) and metric B-series (Φ18-Φ108).
Wall Thickness: SCH80(3000LB), SCH160(6000LB), XXS(9000LB).
